Great customer service, good communication and the quality of my horse hide A2 jacket is absolutely superb.

I am a long-time customer of Five Star Leather and have purchased more than 10 jackets from them. Every order has been for a custom-sized jacket. With each order, I got a one-on-one consultation. I also received photos of the finished product before they sent it out, in the event that changes are needed. In short, Five Star's customer service and quality are equal to what I would pay twice as much for with other manufacturers.

In general, the product's quality is great! It was a very accurate replica of Leon's leather peacoat from RE requiem. They made sure to show me pictures of every angle while showing the measurement, and there were no issues regarding that. The measurements they recommended definitely worked too! I tweaked them lightly, but they definitely know what they're doing. Keep in mind this is my first genuine leather product, so I have nothing to compare it to other than faux leather products.However, I do want to mention a few minor issues that I believe don't deserve a 4 star rating, so I'll keep it at 5. I had a ton of questions as this was my first tailored garment. That being said, it felt like they got tired of my questions halfway and didn't even acknowledge some. I may have overdone it, but I believe its natural to be curious and even wary when buying a product of this type. Also, the buckles on the jacket are a little beat up and stained. I have no idea if this is intentional to match Leon's/the aesthetic or just an overlooked mistake. Either way, I love the product and definitely recommend them.

At first, the custom jacket I ordered was too large but I was able to send it back to get fixed. The fixed jacket fits well and leather is high quality.

I liked the product; however the sleeves were too long. The collar stood up too much and should have been flatten more. The shipping cost was outrageous, at 1/4 the price of the product. I tried to order two jackets after my order and was told to reorder, not very helpful.

The quality for the price of what you’re giving is insanely worth it.They were very easy to work with, very quick to communicate with and reassure me for any concerns I had.When I finally got the jacket it was glorious, insanely good quality especially for the price of ordering a bespoke piece.

I may be duplicating my updated review however I want to make sure that I honor my obligation to FIVESTAR. I have purchased many authentic ww1 and ww2 jackets and I own original A1s , a2s and b3s . I have Eastman , Lost worlds , Aero, us authentic, etc...., Generally the quality for the price cannot be matched as Fivestar is very price competitive . I had an issue that tookj 9 months to resolve . I sent Rare NOS zippers to be used in a custom jacket . Fivestar used them for another customer which offended me as a returning customer. They did go above and beyond to make it right by me . FiveStar produced a custom made A2 per my Specs., It took a while but the finished product was nearly perfect . So I am udating my prior review .

Quick response and production time for a custom piece. Good quality for the price, would buy again

I ordered an A2 jacket using the standard sizing based on my measurements. I also selected wool cuffs and a fur collar, which I later discovered automatically made the order “custom.”Unfortunately, there are several issues. The collar attachment feels outdated/poorly thought out (the buttons can scratch your neck, making it uncomfortable to wear). The snaps for the collar are beige, and instead of leaving them as-is, they attempted to dye them to match the lining. The result looks uneven, almost like a stain rather than a proper finish.The biggest problem, however, is the sizing. The jacket is labeled as a size 42, but it does not fit like one at all. Despite this, they refuse to address the issue because the order is considered “custom.”To be fair, the leather quality itself is good. However, their approach to handling customer concerns is disappointing. At this point, it feels better to walk away with an ill-fitting jacket than risk spending more money trying to resolve the issue.

Fivestar offers a good product and a reasonable price. I have ordered a jacket and pair of gloves. Each is excellent for the price. Delivery was prompt for each item.

Fantastic quality for an unbeatable price and build time. Good communication from Shawn and the team. Bought my first jacket in December of 2025 and just received my second one to custom measurements in February 2026 and they nailed it.
